Kroger expanded and renovated their existing facility in Delaware, OH utilizing an Automated Storage and Retrieval System. This required a 61,000 SF, 24” thick floor slab with a double matt of rebar to support the racking system along with a 15,000 SF dock area. These automated racking systems require precise flatness levels across the entire installation surface to ensure the racks can function properly. During the expansion and renovation, Kroger also replaced 30,000 SF of floor slab in the existing facility and added 125,000 of exterior concrete paving. Millennium Concrete completed all concrete on the project including the building foundation.
